Each year, I find myself thankful for many things that I am thankful for each and every day.
I am thankful that my children are healthy, that they have a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs, and food in their bellies.
I am thankful I was fortunate enough to be born in the United States of America.
I thank all veterans and current US troops currently serving, for protecting my freedoms.
I thank the pilgrims and the Native Americans for finding a way to spend the first Thanksgiving together.
I am thankful to our Founding Fathers for their courage and determination to make America a free and independent country.
I am thankful for to have rights such as the Freedom of Speech and the Freedom of Religion, to freely express my thanks to God for all of these things.
Finally, I am thankful to my Creator for certain unalienable rights, and thankful to those who wrote the Declaration of Independence, for including the following:
"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."
